Hi! my name is elizabeth.

I’m focused on translating technical scientific information about biomaterials and climate innovations into clear, relatable ideas and brands. Leveraging my multidisciplinary toolkit to create marketing and branding strategies, my projects strive to communicate the severity of our climate crisis, and highlight innovative mitigation techniques that can help us to avoid the most severe impacts. I’m driven by the fact that experiential design can, if you understand your audience well enough, fundamentally impact someone’s beliefs, wants and actions.

My masters degree is from Pratt Institute where I honed my skills in communication design while creating experiences and objects that employ visual, audible, and haptic tools to elicit emotive responses. I went on to research and design spaces, objects and graphics and campaigns for some of the largest organizations and some of the smallest startups with a special focus on climate innovation and environmental impact.

In addition to my design work, I’m also fortunate enough to teach BioDesign and Sustainable Design Theory + Practice at Pratt Institute.

A New York City transplant, I’m currently based in San Francisco.
